“The Union of Salvation” was shown to the first viewers

The premiere of the film “The Union of Salvation” took place in Moscow. This is what the secret society of the Decembrists was called back then and now it’s the name of a dramatic and honest film about their fate. The film is based on real story. Full immersion in the era, large-scale shooting, incredible graphics, authenticity in every detail transferred the guests of the evening to the very Petersburg of the beginning of the XIX century.

The entire crew was invited to the stage - from those who created the costumes to the stars of the screen. Marta Timofeeva was able to attend the premiere. The film also features Martins Kalita and Sebastien Sisak.

The film was created with the participation of the Cinema Foundation and Channel One. Congratulating the creators on the fact that the audience will finally see the film, the Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky even promised to include the film in the compulsory school curriculum. The film will be released in wide distribution on December 26th.
