Marta Timofeeva played young Sophie Turner in the upcoming series “Survive”

After the horror movie “Welcome to Mercy”, Marta Timofeeva’s second Hollywood project was the mini-series “Survive”, where Marta plays young Sophie Turner. The director of the series is Mark Pellington, known for  "The Mothman" and "Nostalgia." Filming took place in Latvia.

The plot is based on the novel of the same name by Alex Morel. The story starts with a plane crash: the plane crashes in the snowy mountains and only two survive, a man and a woman. They must be saved by overcoming harsh environmental conditions and personal psychological trauma.

The project is being implemented by EMH Consulting Group, Inc and Gunpowder & Sky. "Survive" will be released on April 6 on the new Quibi streaming platform - now it is just getting ready to launch. The creators of the service focused on films divided into ten-minute series - this format is convenient for viewing from the phone. Afterwards the series will become a feature film
