‘Asphalt Sun’ featuring Anfisa Kaftanova takes part in the competition of the Festival of Russian Fimls ‘Window to Europe’

Ilya Khotinenko’s ‘Asphalt Sun’ featuring Anfisa Kaftanova now takes part in the competition of the Festival of Russian Films ‘Window to Europe’, which will take place in Viborg city from August 27 to September 1.

The film tells about the adventures of teenage skaters, when this sports hobby was just beginning to appear in the Soviet Union. According to the plot, the main character of the film, 13-year-old Artyom, is experiencing teenage problems, including the disappointment of first love, as well as the betrayal of his own father, who left his family. The boy finds comfort and the opportunity to express his emotions in skateboarding.
