Start of the movie shooting “Battalion” with Pavel Yudin starring

 On request of channel NTV the shooting of miniseries ‘Battalion’ started in Maykop.

The events are taking place in the year of 1999 during the breakup of Yugoslavia. The movie about true courage will tell a story of Russian intelligence men who did their best to withdraw the enemy 60 times exceling them at force.

«The main theme raised in the movie is what can stop the horror of war and who can resist it. Our heroes will try to answer this question. The fact that the screenplay is based on  true events  will add truthfulness and credibility”-said the filmmaker Alexey Bistritski.
