A film directed by Anna Chernakova based on the script by Alexander Adabashyan "Katya-Katya" with the participation of Stepana Sereda is being released today.

The action of the picture unfolds in two time layers. The first storyline begins in the spring of 1942 in Moscow. Moscow schoolgirl Katya is corresponding with an unknown cadet of the naval school Konstantin, who, when sent to the front, must pass through Moscow. The second storyline develops in the present tense. 14-year-old pianist Katya inexplicably follows in the footsteps of her peers of the war years. For filming in the 12th pavilion of Mosfilm, the interiors of a Moscow apartment of the forties were built. According to the authors' idea, the film should show teenagers the contrast between two time periods, as well as tell about the history of the country with the help of emotional attachment.

The premiere of the film took place on November 1 in the Great Hall of the Cinema House of the Union of Cinematographers.
