According to the plot, COVID-19 is spreading in Russia and the world, and the mother of the main character Victor catches this poorly studied virus. Victor, a former doctor and now a successful businessman, sneaks into the hospital illegally to help her. Risking his life and freedom, he tries to deal with an unknown disease and, together with medical staff, prepares to repel the first blow of the pandemic.

Most of the film's episodes were filmed in a defunct sanatorium in the Moscow region. To accurately recreate the hospital scenery, ventilators and special medical equipment were ordered. Some crowd scenes involved up to 100 people!
