A military adventure series based on real events... from the song "Road to Berlin".

The plot centers on five friends, natives of different republics of the USSR, who serve in the same infantry regiment. They have three years of war behind them, and ahead of them is the liberation of Russian, Belarusian, Polish and German cities. They are led forward by a song composed about them by a frontline correspondent, Major Dolmatovsky - "The Road to Berlin".
