Filming of the full-length adventure family film "The Magic Lamp" has begun in St. Petersburg, starring Ravshana Kurkova

The film tells the story of a boy named Sasha, who, in the company of a genie from a jug and a smart speaker named Alisa that came to life, goes in search of his parents.

The film stars Pavel Derevyanko, Artem Tkachenko, Anastasia Krasovskaya, Tikhon Zhiznevsky, Ravshana Kurkova, Natalya Surkova, Mikhail Policemako, Dmitry Khrustalev and Alexander Samusev.

The general producers of the film are Alexey Telnov, Vladimir Tyulin, Natalya Kozak, Elena Dementova, Bakhodyr Mukhamedov (Uzbekfilm), and Taberik Yusupova (Kyrgyzfilm).

The director of photography is Vyacheslav Lazarev. The script was written by Roman Nepomnyashchy.

In addition to St. Petersburg, the film will be shot in Uzbekistan (including the ancient city of Khiva) and Kyrgyzstan.

The film is being produced by LenDok, REN TV, Uzbekfilm, and Kyrgyzfilm with the support of the Russian Ministry of Culture.
