HC Stroitel was once a successful team, and its owner, Mikhail (Nikolai Fomenko), dreamed of a chance to outgrow its league and advance to the KHL. But the players and coaches fell into a slump, and Stroitel found itself at the bottom of the standings and can't seem to climb back up. Mikhail is mired in debt, and he's starting to think it would be easier to close the club and its arena. Unsure of Stroitel's winning streak, he appoints figure skating coach Artem (actor and blogger Anton Lapenko, known for his role on the show "Inside Lapenko," where he played dozens of characters) as director. Now, the club's survival depends on how well the former figure skater can unite the players, connect them with the fans, who are considered the sixth man on the ice, and become the club's "seventh man."
