Reliable and fair, Misha has worked his entire life as a crane operator at the port of the small provincial town of Zavodskoy. When the port owner fails to pay his workers' wages yet again, Misha stands up for his colleagues—and, predictably, loses his job. Misha's supporter is his good-for-nothing son, Timur, a carefree adventurer who never misses an opportunity to make easy money, but always fails and racks up debts. Trying to stay afloat, Misha miraculously finds work at an elite ski resort. Everything is strictly organized here: team discipline, routine, diverse personalities, and a multitude of tasks that must be handled on the fly—from minor everyday matters to conflicts with inspectors and, occasionally, with guests. The resort is managed by the demanding but caring Katya, for whom Misha gradually develops feelings. However, Katya is in a serious relationship—and with none other than Denis, the owner of the very same port where Misha worked. Thus, a love triangle is formed, turning every day at the resort into a series of force majeure events, where not only the personal happiness of the characters but also the smooth operation of the entire ski resort is at risk.
