The main characters are a composite image of fighters from all units of the Special Purpose Center. According to director Alexander Chernyaev, "Crimea was the location for the filming of exciting episodes involving combat swimmers' missions, including the assault on a ship. A separate story will be dedicated to the events of the Crimean Spring. Our main creative challenge is to provide a faithful artistic rendering of events that, until now, have been known to residents of our country primarily through the news. Furthermore, in our project, we want to showcase the beauty of Russia's regions, including Crimea."

According to the plot, Igor Larionov (Donskoy), a graduate of the Ryazan Higher Airborne School, is assigned to a group of the Special Purpose Center of the FSB, commanded by FSB Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Kolpakov. Larionov's father was Kolpakov's comrade-in-arms before his death. From his father, Igor inherited an important trait: achieving his goals, no matter what. As part of a special forces group, Igor, now called "Student," faces deadly missions. With each new task, the hero becomes convinced that all the seemingly unrelated events he witnesses are just further developments in the ongoing geopolitical standoff between the West and a Russia that has grown stronger since the 1990s.

The 16-episode project will premiere on REN TV.
