Filming has begun on the feature film *Saving the Capybara*, starring Maria Shumakova.

The story centers on 11-year-old Andrei, who loves animals and knows everything about them, but he can't get a pet: his mother is categorically against it. One day, during a trip to the circus, the boy accidentally ends up backstage and, while escaping from the staff, inadvertently releases a capybara from its cage. He soon learns that the capybara is being trained for a dangerous stunt, which is to be the highlight of the upcoming performance. He then decides to find the escaped capybara before the circus staff does, using his knowledge of its habits.
The film is directed by Flyuza Farkhshatova ("Tunnel"), and the screenplay was written by Yuri Burnosov, Tatyana Glushchenko, and Alexander Ryabyshev, with the participation of Anna Mirokhina. Producers include Alexander Plotnikov, Albert Ryabyshev, Olga Zhukova, Olga Ryabysheva, and Yuri Shchirenko.
